Langkawi...the place to visit!

Assalamualaikum.

First and foremost, let us welcome you to the breathtakingly beautiful Langkawi Island. We know that you can’t wait to come to Langkawi and sink your feet in the crystal clear water of its beaches and islands.

Well to give you the real taste of Langkawi, we will have two (2) days of the program spent at those beautiful attractions of Langkawi, be it human-made or natural attractions. Among the places that we will be visiting are Oriental Village (where the famous and amazing Langkawi Cable Car is also located), Ewa Beach (Shark Bay Beach), and Pulau Intan Kecil.

There will be fun activities to occupy our time at those places such as jungle trekking, sight seeing, telematch, wargame, and well of course we will bring along our glorious selection of FOOD.

Yes, we agree that time may not permit us to visit many other wonderful places in Langkawi, but you can always opt to stay back at the end of the program and enjoy Langkawi as much as you can.

The village offers shopping buffs a bewildering range of international designer labels and local products. Cable Car

Located inside the Oriental Village, the clear bubble shaped cable car takes the 2.2km ride up the mountainside on a 42 degree incline. Gunung Macincang at 708 metres offers a spectacular view. Starting from about sea level, the Cable Car rises from about sea level to an altitude of over 700 metres. Along the near vertical lift, tourists are presented with the towering cliff face named 'Matahari Face'.

To fully appreciate the stunning views, a lot has to do with the prevailing weather conditions, so if it is overcast or raining, it may be best to wait for a clearer day. There are two viewing stations and it is possible to get off and rejoin the cable car at station one. A walking trek from Station one, uphill to Station two has been carved through the vegetation allowing a refreshing walk through the forest.

Jungle Trekking

Langkawi's primeval and largely unexplored rainforests offer intrepid trekkers endless opportunities to observe exotic and rare tropical flora and fauna. Striding through the forest, the lush vegetation parts before you offer glimpses of tapirs grazing in the undergrowth. Crossing swaying hanging bridges will be a feat of balance, and there is nothing an energizing dip in a crystal clear rockpool next to a cascading Telaga Tujuh waterfall. Refreshed and re-inspired, push onward through the steaming vibrant ecosystem that stretches out before you, welcoming, embracing, and teaching you about nature at its most natural.

Pulau Intan Kecil

Pulau Intan Kecil is an uninhabited island that boasts of serene sandy beaches and turquoise waters. For sure, it's a great place to spend a day at. Moreover, it makes a perfect destination to enjoy solitude. Intan Kecil Island is just 50 minutes by boat from Kuah Jetty.

Pantai Teluk Yu – Shark Bay Beach

Its name literally means "Bay of Sharks" but the waters are completely tranquil. Its wide, sandy beach is actually a continuation of Pantai Pasir Hitam but is free of the black pigmentation. On this beach is also the Teluk Ewa Jetty which serves large ships.
